Nestled on a hillside in Snowdonia, our cosy Log Cabin overlooks the Rhinog Mountains, and is close to beaches and many of Snowdonia's Tourist attractions, 2 miles from Coed y Brenin mountain biking centre and in easy reach of villages like Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws-y-Coed.

Our cosy self-catering, 2 bedroom log cabin is available for a short break or longer holiday and for those looking for holiday accommodation they can use year round. There are electric storage heaters and an electric log burner effect fire in the lounge, so its lovely and warm even during the coldest weather.


The Log Cabin sleeps 6/7 people (one double bed, one room with a small double bed and a top bunk, as well as a double bed settee in lounge) It also has a lounge, bathroom with shower a fully equipped kitchen, and an enclosed veranda with a table and chairs. The lounge has a 32 inch flat screen TV with Sky Basic Freeview channels, also a DVD and VHS player to use when you are not out exploring. It is the ideal choice for families, big or small, looking to holiday in Snowdonia, North Wales. Our log cabin also accepts one pet, which is a the maximum allowed by the site. Our log cabin holiday accommodation is located in the southern part of Snowdonia National Park and is well established with many mature trees, bushes and shrubs providing a haven for wildlife. As well as all the normal garden birds, we have cuckoos and woodpeckers visit us. Additionally RSPB and the Wildlife Trust Wales have a number of projects in the area as well. Snowdonia National park and the surrounding area offers something for everyone, whether it's outdoor pursuits and high adventure, a romantic break, enjoying the tranquility of the countryside or some simple family fun.

There are often markets, festivals and special events locally, the site office usually have details of any events. For those planning a mountain biking break our cabin is 2 miles from Coed y Brenin forest, 20 minutes from the new Antur Stiniong DH & Freeride Centre at Blaenau Ffestiniog and 30 minutes from the Marin Trail and Penmachno Trail near Betws-y-Coed and the Mach trails in Machynlleth. Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is located in Bronaber, approx 2 miles south of Trawsfynydd. It is conveniently located just off the A470 in Gwynedd, 10 miles north of Dolgellau and 14 miles south of Porthmadog.

We are approximately 2 hours drive from Liverpool, Manchester, Shrewsbury and the Midlands.
